Q: How can I submit my application?
A:  
1. Applying via Electronic Advance Application System for Post-secondary Programmes (E-APP)
  Applicants taking the HKDSE Examination in 2017 can submit the application via Electronic Advance Application System for Post-secondary Programmes (E-APP) https://www.eapp.gov.hk from 2 December 2016 to 16 May 2017. 
2. Applying in person 

 

Applicant should complete the application form and submit it in person to any of the following HKU SPACE Enrolment Centres together with:

  • An application fee of HK$150
  • A copy of your HKID Card or passport
  • A copy of your academic transcript(s), certificate(s) and examination results

    Please bring along with you the original and a copy of your HKID Card or passport and academic transcript(s), certificates and examination results. 
Q: How many programmes can I select in one application? Can I apply for both the Associate Degree and Higher Diploma programmes? 
A: Applicants may apply for the Diploma in Foundation Studies, Associate Degree and the Higher Diploma programmes, which are provided by HKUSPACE Community College and HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College, with a maximum of three programme choices via E-APP, in-person or online applications. We will process the 1st choice of programme in your application, you will receive only one offer for this application if your application is successful. If you are not being selected or the programme you are offered is cancelled because of any unforeseeable difficulties, you will be considered to be admitted to your next choice.
Q: What happen after my application has been submitted? 
A: The College will carefully consider each application. You may be invited to attend interviews and/or written tests during the selection period. We will notify you the result of your application. You should not assume that your application is unsuccessful simply because you do not receive an immediate reply, but should instead wait for official notification of the outcome.
Q: How can I claim my offer? 
A: You may claim the offer if you meet the conditions stated on your conditional offer letter. Please bring the original as well as a copy of your HKID card/passport, examination results, and the conditional offer letter to the following admission centre in person within the prescribed period stated in the conditional offer letter. If you fail to claim this offer on the prescribed deadline, we may not be able to grant you a confirmed offer to your application, even if you have met all the required conditions.

Period for Claiming Offer (For DSE applicants): 12 July 2017

Q: What can I do if I fail to meet the conditions but still meet the College minimum entrance requirements for the relevant programme? 
A: Please follow the instructions which are written on the conditional offer letter and come to the College to collect your offer letter after the result of HKDSE was released. If you could not meet the conditions as listed on the conditional offer letter, it does not mean that your application is rejected. The College will contact you for the application result or other arrangement (e.g. arrangement of interview or offer by other programme) via phone, E-mail or SMS. You may be invited to attend an interview (please bring all the necessary documents) at our Kowloon Bay / Causeway Bay Campus for further review of your application.
