New Course - The Art of Living English
Course Code: CC-88-114-00
The essence of language goes beyond correct grammar, accurate spelling, solid structure, increased vocabulary and fluent pronunciation. At the heart is an artistic and creative process that requires the speaker to relax, slow down, be still whilst connecting with oneself and others in a sincere, playful, attentive and reflective way. Only through living this process can the English learner attains the level of native speakers.
This course offers competent English learners the opportunity to engage in such a process through a variety of living arts such as active-listening, storytelling, role-play, improvisation and games. Action-Reflection (or Exploration-Discovery) is the mode of learning, as participants will do first and know later. The more they are willing to live and do, the more they will discover and know.
Applicants should be current senior secondary 4 - 6 students who would like to improve their fluency and expression of spoken English.
