    All face-to-face classes and scheduled examinations will be cancelled for the remainder of the semester. Course delivery will be conducted online. Lecturers will upload learning materials onto SOUL and facilitate students learn. Examinations will be moved online or replaced by alternative forms of assessment. Details will be announced soon. Please check Learner Portal for details.

特別天氣安排

A. For classes and examinations that have not yet started:

If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is in force during the following time periods, or

When an announcement is made by the Hong Kong Observatory during the following time periods that the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is likely to be issued within the next two hours, or if an “extreme conditions” announcement is issued by the Government, classes/examinations will be cancelled as indicated.

Time Arrangement
6:00 a.m. - 10:59 a.m. Classes / examinations that start before 1:00 p.m. will be cancelled.
11:00 a.m. - 2:59 p.m. Classes / examinations that start before 6:00 p.m. will be cancelled.
3:00 p.m. & onwards Classes / examinations that start from 3:00 p.m. onwards will be cancelled.

Apart from the above, the College may have other special arrangements, details of which will be announced through Learner Portal.


B. For classes and examinations that have already started:

When the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is in force Immediately suspended Continue until the end of that examination session unless otherwise announced by the School #

*  It will be at the discretion of students, particularly those living in outlying islands or remote areas, to leave earlier.
^ Other indoor activities should be suspended as soon as practicable.
#  All outdoor activities will be suspended.

C. Class / Examination Resumption

When an announcement is made that the Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered with no “extreme conditions” in force during the following time periods, classes / examinations will be arranged as indicated:

Before 6:00 a.m. Classes / examinations that start from 8:30am onwards will be held as scheduled.
6:00 a.m. - 10:59 a.m. Classes / examinations that start from 1:00pm onwards will be held as scheduled. ##
11:00 a.m. - 2:59 p.m. Classes / examinations that start from 6:00pm onwards will be held as scheduled.
3:00 p.m. & onwards Classes / examinations on that day will be cancelled.

Classes include all the scheduled activities and consultation sessions.

The College may have other special arrangements, details of which will be announced through the Learner Portal when necessary.

D. Cancelled Class Examination Resumption

Make-up examination schedule will be announced later.  Please pay attention to the College announcement in due course.

No make-up class will be arranged for classes cancelled due to weather (i.e. Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, Black Rainstorm Signal or “Extreme Conditions” is in force.).

##  Classes that start before 1:00pm but with the remaining lesson time (calculated from 1:00pm) equal to or more than 1 hour and 30 minutes will be resumed normal at 1:00pm.  Two examples of the arrangement are listed below: special weather arrangement
